Born To Run (lyrics)

Born To Run - by Bruce Spreensteen.

No comment on the music. But for the lyrics, I like this one: "The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive". My colleague has this on her googlechat name card.

The Beauty Song

佳人曲: 北方有佳人,绝世而独立,一顾倾人城,再顾倾人国,宁不知,倾城与倾国,佳人难再得!

English translation of "The Beauty Song":

Version 1: From Beauty song from house of flying daggers:

An extraordinary beauty in the North
She's the most beautiful being of the world
From her first glance the city bows before her
From her second glance the empire falls into ruins
But there isn't such an empire or a city
that we can love more than this beauty

Version 2: From [1][2] plus my modification (the last 3 sentences):

Dazzling beauty in the north
Peerless and graceful is she
One glance from her and a city falls
A second glance leaves the whole nation in ruins
Don't you know that
Even with the cost of a city and a nation
Another such beauty could be found nowhere else

Personally, I like the second translation much better.
